Victorian Glovebox

A Victorian paper-mache glove box with decorated lid and a pair of typical Victorian gloves with button down wrists. During the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries gloved ere an important dress accessory, being worn for daytime and evening. Many different styles were popular over the decades, but white kid leather endures as a favourite.
