proudly presents Milda Daunoraite
Lithuanian born pianist Milda Daunoraite, now studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Tessa Nicholson under a full fees’ scholarship, already has an exciting international career. She has appeared at top venues, including the Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Laeiszhalle in Elbphilharmonie, United Nations in Geneva and at the 13th EMMA World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in Warsaw. Milda is supported by several foundations, including MS SOS Talents, The Keyboard Charitable Trust; she is also a recipient of the ABRSM Scholarship award.
As the most recent winner of the RAM’s 2023 Sterndale Bennett Piano Prize, Milda is a prize-winner of numerous international piano competitions, including the 1st Prize in the international Volodymyr Krainev Piano Competition in Kharkov, 1st prize in the 4th international piano competition in Stockholm; in 2016, she won the ‘jury‘ prize in the PIANALE International Academy & Competition. Milda performed Ravel’s G major piano concerto in the Queen Elizabeth Hall, March 2020 as a result of winning the Purcell School Concerto Competition. Milda performed the 4th V. Bacevičius concerto for Piano and Orchestra with Lithuanian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, which was broadcast by Euroradio, in November 2018. Milda is a part of a concert series “Piano and Art” at Künstlerfinca Can Brut, Mallorca, where she is regularly invited to perform solo recitals. Several of Milda’s performances were broadcast by Mezzo & TV5 Monde in over 40 countries.
