Friends of RGHT event: Illegal

Andrew Donkin local Charlton resident and co-author Eoin Colfer with illustrator Giovanni Rigano came to Greenwich Heritage Centre for an evening of interesting discussion surrounding the making and creating of graphic novels, the current migrant crises and working as a team on one graphic novel.

While Giovanni live sketched MP Matthew Pennycook had a whole host of Questions for the team from meeting each other to the importance of teaching children about the migrant crises and the inspiration for the book.

Even if you weren’t a graphic novel fan, the night was endlessly enjoyed by everyone of all ages, and lots of people went hope with a copy in their bag.

Thanks to Andrew, Eoin and Giovanni for a brilliant talk, Matthew Pennycook for playing interviewer, Ottie and the Bea for book sales (https://ottieandthebea.com/) and the Friends for filling up our seats again!
