What’s on - January to March 2019

Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust is delighted to be welcoming in 2019 with a busy schedule of family and community events from January to March, all being held at Charlton House.

We’ll be celebrating LGBT History Month with an archival photography and memorabilia display in Charlton tea room for the whole of February.

As a special Valentine’s Treat you can come along for a screening of Dirty Dancing, with a Salsa lesson thrown in. £20 per person with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, watermelons are optional.

Holiday Histories returns for the February half-term with an opportunity for children to come and learn about the history of our beautiful Summerhouse, and for any budding architects to design their own. £1.50 per child, drop-in on the day.

On Sunday 31st March you can treat mum to a relaxing and traditional botanical afternoon tea. £35 per head for adults and £18 for children, book and confirm before the 15th February and we’ll also enter your name into a prize draw to win a beautiful seasonal bouquet, presented to your special lady on the day.

Last but by no means least our Friday afternoon concert programme, with talented students from the Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Barbican String Quartet, not forgetting the annual Lyrical Brass Competition lined up between now and the end of March. All free to attend with a suggested donation of £3, Charlton House Concerts are only made possible by your generous donations.
