Charlton Tea rooms'
The perfect setting to catch up over lunch, our wonderful wood panelled tea rooms are full of history. The tea rooms offers light lunches, snacks, hot and cold drinks and delicious cakes. Please see our menu for what we serve on a daily basis.
The tea rooms also serve afternoon tea that consists of cream tea along with a selection of cakes and sandwiches. Large groups can be served in the exquisite setting of the Dutch Room.
The price for cream tea per person is £4.90 which consists of tea, jam, scones and fresh clotted cream. For the price of £11.90 per person the cream tea also includes delicious cakes and sandwiches. This must be booked at least a day in advance with a 50% deposit.
Open 9am – 4pm Monday - Friday.
As well as a wide selection of books, the library also loans DVDs, videos, CDs and Playstation games. For younger visitors there's a children's play area with puzzles and toys to keep them occupied.
