L'Arte Della Pizza

Opening times:

Friday: 5pm - 10.30pm

Saturday: 10am - 10.30pm

Sunday: 10am - 7pm

Bank Holidays: 10am - 7pm (excluding Easter & Christmas)

L’Arte della Pizza is an authentic Italian pizza restaurant within the Minstrel Hall of Charlton House, offering not only artisan hand-stretched pizza, but also sharing platters, antipasti, artisan ice-cream (gelato), Italian desserts and canapes.

GLL Book Library

As well as a wide selection of books, the library also loans DVDs, videos, CDs and Playstation games. For younger visitors there's a children's play area with puzzles and toys to keep them occupied.

Toy Library

A large selection of toys, books and games to play with here or at home. Come and meet other parents and get advice from our experienced staff. As well as fun stuff we have an extensive range of baby safety equipment.

Japanese Language School

Classes in Japanese from beginners to advanced levels as well as English classes for Japanese speakers.

Getting to Charlton House

Our address: Charlton House, Charlton Road, London SE7 8RE

Bus routes: 53, 54, 380, 422 and 486.

Train: Charlton Station (British Rail) then 10-minute walk (uphill) or 486 bus to Warren Walk. Proceed up hill to Charlton House.

Tube: North Greenwich (Jubilee Line), then take 486 bus to Warren Walk. Proceed up hill to Charlton House.

Parking at Charlton House

A new pay and display parking policy applies at Charlton House car parks located to the front of the house

- £1 per hour between the hours of 8am and 5pm, 50p per hour between 5pm and 10pm

- A barrier located at the entrance to the house and grounds will be down and locked between the the times of 9pm and 8am

- Receive a 10% discount on any purchases in Charlton Tea Rooms when presenting the voucher portion of your ticket

- Blue badge holders can park for free in designated disabled bays when displaying a blue badge

- Spend a minimum of £5 in Charlton Tea Room to receive a refund up to 2 hours parking (applicable during tea room opening times only)
