Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust are working with the Royal borough of Greenwich to move the museum collections and archive of the borough to a new store in Charlton.
Works began at the end of 2018 and are now in progress, in consultation with The National Archives, to provide a safe and secure home for the many diverse and important historical items that can be found including; rare books, pamphlets, tapestries, Roman and Egyptian artefacts, natural history and historical images.

Research Enquiry Service
Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust is currently running an interim archive and research enquiry service whilst the Royal Greenwich archive is being moved, managed by our experienced and specialist archivist.
PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE RUNNING AN INTERIM SERVICE AT THIS TIME AND DO REQUEST THAT YOU CALL/EMAIL IN ADVANCE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET OUR ARCHIVIST, OR VISIT THE TEAM AT CHARLTON HOUSE.
Managing the Collections
The collections management team at Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust are responsible for planning, installing, touring and lending items from the Royal Greenwich collections.

LGBT History Month
Come and find out about LGBTQ history, with a mini exhibition and special display of Royal Greenwich archival photography and memorabilia in Charlton tea room, at Charlton House, for the whole of February.
