This memorial commemorates soldiers who lost their lives in the Anglo-Boer War

The Boer War memorial, made out of pink granite, commemorates the 18 soldiers of the 61st Battery of the Royal Field Artillery who lost their lives in the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902).
