Half Term Craft Day | 19 February

Charlton House is more than bricks and timber, it’s been shaped by the people who’ve lived, worked, and cared for it for over 400 years. Our People’s Gallery Exhibition celebrates these individuals through costumes, photographs, objects, and stories.

Come and have a look around the exhibition and be inspired by what you see to craft your own items to take home with you!

You can craft:

• A Jacobean paper ruff
• A painted clay bowl
• Biscuit icing Victorian jewellery style
• A corgi dog hand puppet

Suitable for ages 5 – 12

Sessions are 10:00am – 12:00pm and 1:30pm – 3:30pm

£5 per child (plus a small Eventbrite booking fee)

Need a break? Our brand new quiet/sensory room will be open in another part of the house for anyone needing a calm space.
