Immersive Educational Experiences

Discover the vibrant 400-year history of Charlton House & Gardens, through one of our period specific school visits. Our sessions are all adapted for KS1 and KS2 and are led by an experienced educator in character and in full historical costume.
Each session includes: Immersive storytelling, role play, games, dancing, original artifacts and a relevant craft activity. The children get to dress up too. Choose Jacobean, East India Company, Victorian, WW1 or WW2.

Become a Historian

Embark upon an immersive, educational tour through Charlton House to develop the investigative skills of a Historian.
Your tour will be followed by a handling session featuring real artifacts from our collection. Choose between our Roman or Ancient Egyptian collections, or toys through time.
