Alma Ensemble presents… an evening of live Spanish music and Flamenco at Charlton House
What happens when Spanish classical music reconnects with the traditions that inspired it?
ANDALUZA takes audiences on a musical journey into the heart of southern Spain, where the elegance of classical music meets the expressive power of flamenco.
Inspired by Enrique Granados’s Andaluza and the rich cultural heritage of Andalucía, this unique concert explores the deep connections between Spain’s classical masterpieces and the folk traditions that helped shape them.
Featuring music by Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados, Isaac Albéniz and Joaquín Rodrigo, the programme brings a fresh perspective to celebrated works, including Asturias and Concierto de Aranjuez. Through the rhythms, colours and expressive language of flamenco, these compositions reveal new dimensions of passion, intensity and character.
Violin, guitar and piano unite with flamenco dance in a performance where music and movement become one. Award-winning international musicians and flamenco dancers bring together the refinement of chamber music and the raw, captivating energy of Spanish tradition.
More than a concert, ANDALUZA is a celebration of Spain’s musical heritage — an invitation to experience its timeless beauty, vibrant rhythms and unmistakable spirit in a new light.
