Join Us for Historic Tours of Charlton House
Explore over 400 years of history with our guided tours! Have you ever wondered what it was like to live in a Jacobean mansion? What is a Grand Salon? How did the owners show off their wealth? If the walls could speak what stories would they tell?
🕰️ When: Every first and third Friday of the month – during the summer months (from May 1 2026, until October 30 2026) the tours are every Friday.
⏳ Duration: 1 hour starts at 12 noon
📍 Location: Charlton House, meet in the Great Hall where Frilly’s Tea Room is located
Come discover the rich history, architecture, and hidden corners of this remarkable Jacobean mansion.
We are a wheelchair accessible venue.
Self-guided and audio tours are also available for free throughout the day, and every weekday and Saturday: 9:30am to 3:30pm.
All ticket sales directly support Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust and allow us to conserve Charlton House and for the building and gardens to remain open to the public, free of charge.
