We are looking for a Event Support – Casual to join our team at Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust.
Greenwich Heritage Trust is expanding its commercial events business to support our charitable mission, which includes caring for historic buildings and delivering education, conservation, and community programmes. We’re looking for experienced, enthusiastic individuals with a background in events, hospitality, or heritage venues. You should be confident in a customer-facing role, able to work effectively as part of a team, and open to taking instruction and receiving feedback. A commitment to high standards of service is essential. Flexible working hours are essential, including late evenings and weekends. We are hiring multiple roles, so if you are only available on weekdays or weekends, please let us know in your application.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with setting up event spaces including tables, chairs, and linens. Also responsible for ensuring the setup is correct and meets event requirements.
- Uphold health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Act as the main point of contact on the day of the event, checking in with suppliers and ensuring they have everything they need to deliver their part of the event smoothly.
