We are looking for a Venue Sales Officer to join our team at Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust.

We are seeking an experienced commercial venue hire professional. You’ll be passionate about events and motivated to secure commercial business and deliver ambitious income targets for the Trust. Experience in a heritage or cultural environment would be an advantage; as is experience in weddings. You’ll need to be a team player who is comfortable thinking on your feet, dealing with people and managing multiple projects efficiently.

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively drive sales of the spaces, in person, online or by telephone.
  • Receive and respond to all bookings and enquiries whether in person, by telephone, or by email.
  • Dealing with any administration associated with bookings for both internal and external customers
  • Providing excellent customer service

Our Venue Sales Officer supports the Trust to build and manage commercial events, weddings and venue hire as part of the Trust’s commercial strategy. All the Trust’s income is used to run the charity for the benefit of the community and to preserve the historic buildings. We are seeking support to establish a pipeline of commercial events to sit alongside our cultural heritage programming, ensuring that the Trust makes enough money to run and look after the buildings in our care and deliver Learning, Access and Conservation outcomes in line with our charitable objects.
