Outside may have been displaying the very finest of British rainshowers but inside Charlton House, with the help of our trusted suppliers, we transformed it into a wedding inspiration haven!
This year, we have welcomed over 18 couples to celebrate their special day at Charlton House and with exciting plans of how we can develop our wedding offering even further, our Wedding Fair was the perfect opportunity to showcase our stunning venue and the amazing suppliers we work with in order to bring your dream day to life.

“Being a new Events Team, we felt it was important to host this event and connect with the couples who are already booked in with us or who are looking to get married at Charlton House in the coming months and years.
We have a stunning venue here, steeped in over 400 years of rich history, it’s the perfect backdrop to celebrate your special day. I couldn’t be more proud of the incredible team we have here! George and Jessica, our two Events Officers, put so much time and care into each of our couples to ensure that their dream day is brought to life. For us, it’s an honour to play a part in the planning and delivery of weddings and we are on hand throughout the entire process to assist where needed; whether it’s helping to liaise with suppliers, welcome your guests on the day or just being there with a much needed tissue when emotions are running high…

Many couples who get married here have a personal connection with the house. It could be that they had their first socially-distanced date here during Covid in our park; or that they live locally and Charlon House has been the local landmark that many of their memories together feature. We love embracing all of the history that our couples either have, or are creating in the house and the connection between this, and the existing 400 years of history is something quite special.
We are looking forward to welcoming many more couples into Charlton House as they embark on a new chapter in their lives and continuing to deliver a first-class standard of customer care to all of our wonderful couples!”
