Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust's volunteers are a core part of our day to day events, research and education

Volunteer Roles

Our previous and current volunteer roles have include:

Working with our archives and collections to find out more about the borough for projects and exhibitions.

Working closely with our Museum collections, cataloguing and repackaging objects.

Assisting with our event programme preparations and activities.

Helping us use our museum and archives to teach schools, colleges and families and help people find out about our heritage.

Community Art Exhibition

Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust have an exciting new opportunity that you can get involved in!

If you live/study/work in the borough of Greenwich you can be a part of a community art exhibition! We are looking for 20-25 participants who are excited to learn about the history and heritage of Greenwich by investigating the diverse nature all around us. If you love nature and have an interest in being creative then we want to hear from you! No Creative Experience Necessary.

Please send an email to with your name, a line about what it is that you do in the borough (work/study/live) and which area of arts you are interested in. For example, if you are interested in drawing, printing, poetry, dance, etc. - or if you’d like to try something new.
